Innovative, contemporary materials are to be explored, with their specific qualities they already possess as a starting point in her creative process.Since the mid-seventies, Hilde works with the medium textiles as the guiding principle to spatial integration, on the wall or as an independent element.’ –
She taught for many years in the Academy of Fine Arts and develops throughout her personal life and artistic career assignments for public and private architectural integration.
She takes part in thematic exhibitions at home and abroad internationally and has own gallery for Contemporary Applied Arts in the historic city center of Antwerp.
